[New Font] Hello Easter SVG Colour Font

We’ve just launched our first colour SVG font: Hello Easter! There’s something about Easter that always pulls us back into soft colours and gentle shapes, and those tiny details that make everything feel a little more playful.

We wanted to design something seasonal. Something that felt light and joyful and just a little bit whimsical. Easter seemed like the perfect place to begin because, well, pastel palettes, soft textures, and all those cosy spring details that are so fun to draw.

Each letter became its own tiny playground. Some carried little flowers tucked into corners. Others leaned into eggs, leaves, or soft decorative shapes that wrapped around the letterforms. A few ended up with subtle character touches—just enough to give them a bit of charm without overwhelming the structure.

The challenge here was balance. The letters needed to stay readable, especially at smaller sizes. At the same time, they needed enough space to hold those illustrations without feeling crowded.

So we worked with chunky, rounded forms that gave everything room to breathe.

And that decision shaped the entire font.

Working in colour meant thinking differently about how the font would live in the world. Instead of a single silhouette, each glyph became a layered piece of artwork. Colour choices suddenly mattered in a much more visible way.

The real magic happened when we started placing the font into mockups: a tote bag here, a greeting card there, soft Easter scenes with bunnies, eggs and florals.

That’s when it clicked and the font stopped feeling like a file and started feeling like something people could actually use. Something that could sit on a product, on a card, on a little moment someone gives to someone else.

And that’s always our favourite part.
